The Sunday 10 a.m. Parish Eucharist is the center of Good Shepherd’s life.
We bring to it all our hope and griefs, our prayers and our praises, our souls and bodies. We surround it with the best we have, in liturgy, in music, in preaching. What we take from it is no less than the courage and strength to
live as faithful witnesses of Christ in the world. Everything we do at Good Shepherd has its beginning in our experience of God in worship . It is the center of our life and our reason for being.

Even when Good Shepherd was a tiny and struggling church, outreach to
the poor was something we were unwilling to cut. Nothing has changed, except that now with more people and with more resources, we can do so much more. Outreach to the poor is something we include significantly in
our parish budget, and our volunteers give countless hours to such ministries as Rosie’s Place, Epiphany School and St. Stephen’s After School Program.
